About
DESIGNING A SOLAR PROJECT WITH THE COMMUNITY IN MIND
Aviation Energy Center is a utility-scale solar project exploring siting options in the Xenia, Cedarville, and Miami Townships of Greene County, Ohio. As we consider locations and feedback, the team is committed to a range of 300 to 500 ft setbacks from Little Miami Watershed and its tributaries, any public road, residential property line, state park, or public land.
ENERGIZING THE ECONOMY
Aviation Energy Center is estimated to generate millions of dollars in additional tax revenue for Greene County over the project's 40-year lifespan, bringing new resources for schools, hospitals, and other public services. But the benefits to the community don't stop there. We are also committed to fostering local business growth through our Regional Business Partner Program, which will engage local companies in various aspects of the project. Aviation Energy Center will be working with local and regional partners when feasible, throughout the development process, and is seeking expression of interest from local companies and individuals. By aligning ourselves with local businesses, we aim to create a network of collaboration and shared success that extends far beyond the solar panels.
Vesper energy
Aviation Energy Center is being developed by Vesper Energy, a U.S.-based renewable energy company that partners with local landowners to develop solar and energy storage projects across the country.
Vesper Energy’s mission is to develop, construct, own, and operate solar energy and energy storage facilities that contribute to a sustainable energy future while respecting and contributing to local communities. Find out more about Vesper Energy and our projects below.
